Many manga and comic artist produce manga digitally. This is done for reasons of speed and flexibility. letraset have created a range of Digital Tones Project Kits which include high resolution Tiff format images on CD and 10 sheets of safmat film
These sets allow users to manipulate the image files to create their digital manga, with the added option of printing designs onto safmat and using in a similar way to Screen-Tone. Each kit includes basic dot tones, and specially selected background designs for producing themed comic artwork.
