Description
Winsor & Newton ProMarker Singles — Greys | 29 shades | £2.01 each
The ProMarker grey range is the most comprehensive of all the colour families — 29 shades across three distinct grey scales, giving illustrators, designers, and architectural renderers the precise tonal control that a single generic grey simply cannot provide. Whether you need the near-neutral purity of Ice Grey, the subtle warmth of Warm Grey, or the blue-leaning precision of Cool Grey, the full numbered scale is here from 00 through to 7.
Three grey scales — what the difference means
- Cool Grey (00–7) — a blue-leaning grey ideal for architectural rendering, technical illustration, metallic surfaces, and shadows on cool-toned subjects. Cool Grey 2 and Cool Grey 7 both appeared in our customer search data as the most commonly sought specific grey shades.
- Warm Grey (00–7) — an earth-toned grey with a slight yellow or brown bias, ideal for skin tone shadows, interior design rendering, organic subjects, and anywhere a neutral grey would feel too cold.
- Ice Grey (00–7) — the most neutral of the three scales, with minimal colour bias. Useful for print design where colour-accurate grey reproduction matters, and for backgrounds and negative space in illustration.

Completing your grey palette
The ProMarker Blender (PMSBLEN, £2.01) softens transitions between grey shades for smooth gradients. The ProMarker 24 Black & Grey Set (0290081, £38.08) includes a curated selection of Cool Grey shades alongside Black if you're starting a grey-focused collection. Individual grey singles let you add specific shades the set doesn't include — particularly the outer values (00 and 7) which are most commonly needed as additions.
