Three grey scales — what the difference means
- Cool Grey (00–7) — a blue-leaning grey ideal for architectural rendering, technical illustration, metallic surfaces, and shadows on cool-toned subjects. Cool Grey 2 and Cool Grey 7 both appeared in our customer search data as the most commonly sought specific grey shades.
- Warm Grey (00–7) — an earth-toned grey with a slight yellow or brown bias, ideal for skin tone shadows, interior design rendering, organic subjects, and anywhere a neutral grey would feel too cold.
